It was mentioned recently that there are several authors who have written books on the care and maintence of Featherweights. I've tried to find those links but couldn't but then again I'm barely able to find my computer these days. Could someone post again either PM or here on the titles and authors so I can try to find a copy of them. I want this little baby to last as long as it can.

This has been recommended recently. I don't have it yet (next payday though).

That sounds like a "must have" just not now at that price. I have to pay the machine off first but thank you so much for posting this link. At least I know what I can ask for when family asks what I want for Christmas.

I have the 221 and do have the manual. The seller sent it on a DVD and I printed it off so I'd have another copy to reference but the pictures aren't very clear, or my eyes are getting duller not sure which.

I bought the book the same day I got my first featherweight and it is really handy to have. Also there are a lot of helpful places that you can look at on the internet until you can get one.I paid $23.95 for mine, but I got it at a quilt shop which naturally costs more, but perhaps you can find it cheaper on ebay.
