    It may be only the picture that makes me think this, but my opinion is that the black border is a bit "much". Looking at the second picture, there is already a very small black border at the top and bottom. I wonder what a skinny black border then on the 2 sides would look like.

    Black border and then black binding to keep the eye on the OBW blocks in the center.

    A small black border would frame it. Very pretty! Great choice of layout.

    I've always added a border to frame the quilt plus to keep all those seams from coming apart. A small black border would work fine since you've finished the top and bottom with black to square it off. Black binding would also be great as it wouldn't take away from the blocks within, again just framing it.

    This OBW is so beautiful! Great Job. I like the black border on the first picture. With or without this quilt is going to finish so nice. Such talent! What ever you decide is going to be perfect. Thanks for sharing.

    I like the first picture with the narrow black border. I think it frames out your beautiful quilt.
