Default to border or not to border

Can you help me decide if I want a border on this quilt. I have been trying to decide all day....

    Thanks.

when i saw the first pic, i thought 'no'. after seeing your border choice in the second pic, i think that is what you should do! it's so pretty!

It looks good either way. I would make the decision based on how big I want the quilt. If you want bigger add the border, but it looks fine without :-) Nice color palette!

Yes. The border creates a frame and sets it off, IMO.

    Lovely quilt.

I am not usually a border person and at first I too thought no. Then I saw your possible borders and changed my mind instantly. It really looks sharp with the borders.

i think it's gorgeous either way, if you want bigger then border, if you don't want or need larger than I'd do a narrow binding and start snuggling under it! I love the purple fabric on the super wide border but I think a teal or green would be better for the narrow part in the middle.

Border for sure, but with a darker inner border.

Without border is more moder, with border is more traditional. Pretty either way.
