    Happy Sunday everyone:
Has anyone made the Easy Striped Table Runner by Karen Montgomery? I have not taken a class, and find the pattern very confusing. Any comments or suggestions?

I've made the runner a few times. I look at the striped fabric to determine the width of the repeat, plus I want at least three repeats across the width. I decide the cut width for each strip, this is usually narrower than the full repeat. Cut three strips the same size. Place two right sides together, cut at 60 degree angle on each keeping in mind the direction of the angle. Fold the remaining strip in half then half again and cut 4 equalateral triangles. I think it still sounds confusing - sorry

Maybe checking out the Border Placemat under free patterns on JinnyBeyer.com would help? It seems to be very much the same idea.
