    The tan one shows the fabrics off the best. Great job!!!

    I prefer the soft blue. The tan just blends in and does nothing for the beautiful piecing you have done. Never tried to use those diamond pieces and you have done such a modern twist on an old traditional pattern. You succeeded brilliantly !!

    Neither. the quilt is beautiful and complex. the borders look like old lady calico. I'd go for more contrast at the borders...it's one of those things you know it when you see it...needs some strength.
