I don't like this word but sometimes it's just right - IMO the bottom (tan) fabric gives the quilt a very classy look, also very old English. Thanks for the tip about using a glue stick when doing EPP. I'm working on a 30's repro dresden plate right now and can't wait to try it. Pls show your quilt when it's finished, it will be a beauty.

It is kind of hard to decide since the blue border is out of focus for me and the tan is a much better photo, but the one thing I really want to see are the littler triangles in the white or cream to finish off the feathered look on the diamonds. Maybe something a little darker value wise to let the whole thing pop.

I think I would use a darker border to make that beautiful design with the hexies pop out. It is gorgeous.

I wouldn't choose either, I think it needs something with a little more contrast. Beautiful quilt!

Tan gets my vote, but try white also - might continue the white surround look.

The bottom fabric looks beautiful against your quilt top. This is going to be one gorgeous quilt.
