Default Borders with Donna Jordan- Fancy

Starting at 8:00 she shows a lot of neat borders. The first 8 minutes are good too though- about doing accurate borders.
I love her videos. She's an amazing teacher.

Yes, I have seen this video before. I am particularly fond of the last one she showed using the squares on point. I always liked this border and wanted to make it. I was disappointed it looked more complicated than I had hoped. Haven't tried it yet, but I will eventually. Actually complicated isn't the word. Time consuming is more accurate I think.

Thanks for directing me to her video. I've had a problem trying to get my border/sash with diamonds in the centr to fit on a quilt I designed a couple years ago so I just pushed it aside until I had more time. Adding plain on either end would do the trick. So simple of a fix. Why didn't I think of that?

    Again, thanks.

Donna's videos are amazing! I'm going to watch this one later when I have time to enjoy it.

Ah she sewed her purple border strips together with a straight seam. I did that to my sashings (border) and didn't even realize I was doing that. Normally don't. But it looks fine!

I have tried her third border, the one with on point squares. Donna's instructions are so clear and I am very happy with the result. She is a great teacher.

I just love watching Donna's videos. I also get an e-mail every morning with their deal of the day.

Thanks for the links! I have only added solid strips for borders, but I'm ready to branch out!
