boring strip piecing
#43
What timing. Yesterday picked up our new car and I immediately put on the Sirius Radio. My brother calls it Serious radio and has it in his condo.
I am trying to find that 50 on 5 but I would have to move sewing to the car.

Until now---I discovered Sirius Satellite Radio--For those of us who grew up in the 50's, having this fun music that you can actually sing along to takes all the boredom out of it. In the last 3 hours I have cut all the strips for a lap quilt and sewn half of the strips together,. Right now I'm listening to Shout, Shout a little louder now---Anyone else remember these?

My library subscribes to NetLibrary, so I have an account with them and can download free books and load them on my MP3 player. If I'm listening to a really good mystery/suspense novel, it can even help me work longer at weeding the garden while I wait to find out whodunit!! :-)

I have Sirius Radio in the car that I bought at the end of last year. It came with 3 free months. Now I know why!!! I cannot stand to listen to regular radio anymore. Mostly I listen to 50's on 5 or 60's on 6. It so nice not to have all the yada, yada, yada now in the car while driving. Wish I had it in the house too!!!
