Default Bought a fabric pack at the Lancaster Show

5 - one yard cuts that came with a free pattern - squares with sashing, a couple borders, no big thing. Got the main piecing done, got the first border on, went to do the 2nd border - they have you do the top and bottom in one fabric, the sides in another. With the fabrics I chose this looks AWFUL. I remembered reading a tip about the name of the fabric in the selvages....sure enough I have the name - way to go Nancy!! oh, but this was a fabric from May 2011...... I actually did get lucky and found it online at about the 20th place I tried after googling it.

Remind me to thank Al Gore for "inventing the internet" LOL

Note to self, always be sure I know what the pattern looks like in real colors. Oh, and I now I sit and wait for it to ship.

Have you tried one of the fabric search engines. like http://www.quiltshops.com/ or http://www.findmyfabric.com/ or http://www.fabshophop.com/fabsearch.asp They are great.
