    I think the petal pieces would be put together like a Grandmother's Fan, and then either hand or machine appliqués to a foundation square.

    What an organized quilter and a great find. I'm afraid I can't help you with an ID on the projects, but I know that no matter how hard I try, I'll never be that organized.
