I can't always find them in the stores but Amazon always has them! I have used both kinds Shout and Carbona.

I have found them locally in Target and Joann's. And of course, there's always Amazon! Target moves them all around, they're always in different spots. I find them most often with the "dry cleaning" type stuff, but sometimes they're over by the dryer sheets - you have to hunt a little.

I've used the Shout Color Catchers and the Carbona Color & Dirt Grabbers and I don't notice any difference between them.

The ones I buy here in Canada are Dr. Beckman brand and it says on the package "made in Germany". I get them in the laundry aisle of Metro grocery store. When I'm in Florida I get Shout brand, usually.
