Using mine every day. Of course I do not go somewhere every day because if I did I could not sew! Mine is just fine and I get lots of compliments on it.

    From the pattern:

Front and back top main section...1/3 yard

Front and back contrasting bottom piece, handles, side ties, button loop and front pocket lining...2/3 yard

Lining for the entire inside...1/2 yard

    Inside pockets...1/3 yard

cover for bottom insert...use scraps from above pieces

One 1" or larger button to match fabric design or a covered button

I made one for my daughter-a teacher-she carries everything in it but the kitchen sink. Gave it to her for Christmas and it is still looking good. She uses it every day. I made it out of Virginia Tech logo fabric from whence she graduated oh so many years ago. She loves it. It is the big one. I think the small versions sell better at bazaars etc.

I made mine last year and I'm STILL carrying it...no wear showing on strap....sometimes carry it for handbag but have, also, used it for Bingo!...the pockets are great for carrying daubers and they are all inside.

I made one for myself, I use it every day. No problems, other than that I don't usually use larger purses, so I keep loosing things in the bottom ;-)
