I am a hand quilter and the only thing I do by sewing machine is to stitch my blocks together. How hard would it by for someone who does not sew to make a Bow Tuck Purse?

    Janie:

If you stitch your blocks by machine, I don't think you'd have any problem with the bow tuck. There's a tutorial on here with pictures that is a lifesaver though as the directions aren't fully clear to most people.

Best part about it...if you get hung up on any part of it, you can put a message here and you'll get soooo many helpful hints it will make you dizzy.

I've made several of the bow tucks and each one was easier than the last one. Your first one might make you say "oh dag nab it" a time or two, but they suddenly "click" and all is ok.

    Good luck and have fun.
