    I want to quilt a bow tucks using just a diagonal going one way. Would this look ok? I was wondering if doing a 1-1/2" is too far apart. I thought that I had seen one that someone had done but not sure.

    That will work fine. I usually quilt about 2 inches apart on them.

    I've done the one way diagonal and I did it 2 inches apart - it wwill look fine

    I am making another bow tucks that looks like this only I am using an orange or tangerine color. Would white thread look ok? I don't have any orange thread.
