I have a boat load of fabric I have no idea what I'm going to do with it yet. (Like so many of you  ) If I see something that catches my eye, I buy it. Isn't that what they call a stash? :D

I would have probably said the last time you encountered her in the aisle you decided you were going to shred them in small strips and use it to stuff your dogs bed, and that if she would provide you with her address, you would"will" the dogs bed to her. What an old biddy!

That probably would've creeped me out a bit.

I guess you could have told her you were getting it to wrap your husband's mummified body...so you could keep him on display and he'd be pretty!

Carol-- I am always buying fabric because I like it. I still have fabric I bought years ago and didn't know what I was going to do with it. That lady was rude and if she was a quilter she would know how you feel about what you buy at the time and price that suits you at the time.

Well, live and let live. I agree with the people that said she might have a medical condition.

OMG!! I will have to remember that one.

And, yes, it did creep me out a little bit. I even went back to the pattern section to look at patterns for a few minutes hoping she'd find someone else to insult! Which ended up nicely because someone back there told me they had just left Hobby Lobby and they had their Simplicity patterns for 99 cents this week. So, all's well that ends well!
