The braided quilt pattern
#1
Yes, I did go into the achives and found several items regardling the making and laying out of the fabrics. And I watched the tutorial that used the "binding" tool folded in half to get that angeled edge. Does anyone know what degree the actual cut would be on a standard ruler that has a various amount of degree markers? I would like to make a small wall hanging first to see how I can best handle it. I am "aquiver" with anticipation of actually attemtping one. I do have the two separate patterns, but I am one who prefers to be as accurate as possible when attempting something new. And I am on over load with special rulers and triangles, etc. the Go machine and it all ends up to using the same rulers all the time. Just curious from those who have conquered the "Braid". with thanks,

Have not made one yet, but the one I have in mind has the on-point square at the center of the braid and it looks like the braid strips just continue the sides of the square, so they are actually sewed on straight to the two 'bottom' sides of the on-point square. Hope that description makes sense!
