I'm thinking triangle. I guess 4 patch would be easier. Any preference? Does one look better? 4 patch would be easy to calculate.

Ha ha . . . I plan to hand quilt it. Will probably take a year or more. However, when I get it pieced, I'll post a picture...so give me maybe 6 months.

Both are easy enough to calculate the fabric requirements ... check back to my earlier post, as I added a couple extra thoughts, to keep it all together.

Great fabrics!! though it's hard to tell from here, as I have no idea as to the size/scale of the print. Have you tried it with mirrors? Another way to "test" without cutting all the fabric is to cut a strip the length of the four repeats, stack them and make those 4PPs. It'll give you a good feel as to how they will look and which size of blocks you want to do.

BTW .... you could downsize the lattice if you decide the larger block size is too large for the 4PP and you only want 5" squares for example.

Here's my 4PP WIP ... I suspect the print is smaller than yours. I went with 2-1/2" squares, finishing at 4", smaller than most people do.
