    Default Brantingham, NY (ADK) Quilt shops

    Was wondering if there are any quilt shops in the Adirondack area..Brantingham , Lowville, Clayton(not really in the Adirondacks but visiting that area for a day) etc. area?????

    I did a google search and didn't find any. On another note, my grandson lives in Clayton - is stationed at the Coast Guard base in Alexandria Bay.

    Looks like most of them in that area are across the river in Ontario Canada. Google "Thousand Islands Quilt Shops" and you will get some hits. Here is a link to the map I got for them.

    Unfortunately, our Canadian friends have told us the prices are much higher across the border. Perhaps you might prefer to go visit Boldt Castle or some of the other fun attractions in the area.

    Go through Ithaca and go to Quilters Corners. That is the best quilt shop I have ever been to! The products, the layout, the staff...like a burst of creativity as soon as you walk in!

    Ithaca is definately worth the stop .. also check out Homespun Boutique its walking distance from Quilters Corners.
