Default Broken feed dog on Juki TL-98Q?

I know several of you out there have this machine. My right side feed dog is almost half an inch shorter than the one on the left. Is this normal, have I never noticed before or is it broken? I can't tell by looking at my manual. Please have a look at your machine and let me know. Thanks.

Mine is the same way...so I would say that most likely it is normal.

Thanks for looking and letting me know. My machine was breaking thread and I wondered if this was the reason. I changed the needle and it seems to be fine now.
