I have had this machine for 2 years now. For the most part am happy with it. 2 Weeks ago it stopped sewing a straight stitch and since it had never been into the repair shop for anything I took it in for a cleaning and check up. Well I got the machine back , they said no major problems , just needed cleaning and on part had flipped over and out of place ( warranty). I get it home and hear this rubbing sound. The more I sew the louder it gets ( or maybe it was just annoying me more!) Anyways I take it back to the repair shop, they spray something ( Oil?) into the bobbin area, said that it will make a noise but everything is fine , not to worry just sew with it. well you guessed it got it home and the noise is LOUDER ! :hunf: Does anyone else have this problem with their machine ? Any suggestions ? Any and all help appreciated
    THANKS

That doesn't sound right to me. Maybe you need to take it somewhere else.

I have the same machine. My manual says not to oil the bobbin case. You need to take it somewhere else. Only problem, the repairs can be more than the machine is worth if you got a really good deal on it. I only paid $150 for mine. Nice little machine for the money. I didn't want to spend a lot until I saw if I would really get into quilting. When it breaks, I am upgrading.

I would take it right back and tell them it's way too loud. You need to do this before the service warranty expires (the warranty on the actual work they did).
