Yes the Janome 500e is a fabulous machine but you can get it for much less than the MSRP, especially at this time of year. I got two of them last year at this time and only paid around $1800 each. The editing software that comes with it is basically the same as what's in the machine but in your computer it's easier to see it on the larger screen. I love my 500 and wouldn't trade it for anything.

To me that's a med range priced machine and the dream machines are great. I look at it this way, as long as you can afford it and use it, you should get it. I can't believe when someone says they got a machine and don't use all parts of it, mainly its the emb that they shy away from. Love doing machine emb
