I am getting ready to buy a Brother xl 3500 machine for taking to the charity workshops and also classes. I am buying it because it is lighter than my Kenmore. Does anyone have any feedback about this machine. Thanks for your help.

I have had a variety of brands but when I bought my first Brother I haven't bought anything else since. I find them reliable, easy-to-follow instructions and mine has been in the shop only once!
