    Default BSR not working

I have a Bernina 440QE sewing machine that has a BSR that is not working. The red light does not come on. Any suggestions on what I can try?

Do you have another Bernina or a friend who has one that can check and see if it the foot causing the problem, or is it your machine?

Do you have a dealer close by? I would take it to them.

What quilting mode have you put it in and have you followed the steps in the manual?

If all else fails...check the plug to your machine. I have to stand on my head to get mine in!

Take out the manual and follow the instructions twice, once for each mode available. If still not working and your machine is I'd find someone with the same machine or a shop with same machine. Hope it's just a small blip. Good luck.

I would call your local Bernina dealer and ask about what the no red light indicates.
