Some people love theirs or don't care for it at all. I learned to FMQ without it but find I really like it. I can FMQ while tired and not have to concentrate as much. Without a stitch regulator you really need to focus. It allows me to be more lazy:> My one hint would be to remember to decrease your stitch length the smaller size FMQ you go as you need the decreased length in small curves etc.

Best advice I can give you - make sure you activate the foot (I think it's by hitting the scales button). I had mine, kept putting the foot on, and not noticing a difference with that and the regular FMQ foot. Kept working with it, thought I saw a difference, but not a lot. Posted on here, and, yeah, duh, I had to turn the foot on. *face palm*
