I made this quilt when I was a bit sad, lost both parents in 2 years. Trying to get my game back on. My hubby was gone and I was alone, my children mostly married. So as I was walking out of a quilt shop, and saw this quilt. I asked, do you have this kit, she said yes, I said I'll take one.
Made this quilt in one day. It spoke to me, someday I will be free and the wind blowing in my hair. I'm a red-head too.

Sorry for your loss. It's always hard to loose a parent, but to loose them both so close together it's tough.

I'm praying for you that one day your heart will leap for joy again and the wind in your hair might be a gentle reminder of your parents loving touch.

God bless you and Angels embrace you,

Sorry for the loss of your parents and your husband. You did a wonderful job on the quilt though.

Do you remember where you bought the pattern? I would love to buy it.
