It was not meant to be....but when you least expect it you will find one! Keep looking! I went to the shop where I bought my machine to have it fixed and I looked up and there on the rafter....a row of featherweights. A couple belonged to the shop owner the rest were for sale. I didn't ask for the price. I am unemployed at the moment and didn't want to know. But when I get a job....maybe a bee line to the store! LOL!

Keep telling yourself that an even better deal is out there just for you, hopefully soon. So sorry.

    that's your story.

    stick to it. ;-)
yea that's it he has to spend all that extra to get it working or better yet he can't fix it at all and will turn it into one of those sewing machine planters or riding toy like I've seen from time to time.

He saved you a lot of head ache by buying it first

So be happy and keep looking for just the right one!!!!!!

Had that happen at a resale shop. I felt bad that I had not gone to the part of the store that had machines before I looked at nick nacks. Who needs more nick knacks?

JMAbby, Do you have hissy-fits in MN? We have them in the south and I think you deserve to have one. :>0

That sounds like my world. You have my sympathies. Let's hope the case was empty.
