    Default Burned out Clover Mini-iron?

I have a Clover mini that I just love. Plugged it in, turned it on, 5 minutes later....no heat. Checked the outlet, checked the on/off....nothing. Has anyone else had their iron 'burn out'?

Have you plugged a light into that wall socket to see if it's working? Maybe it tripped the circuit breaker in the electric panel. Check down your cord for a rotary cutter slice, I did that to my machine cord. Luckily it didn't go in deep enough to damage it. I don't have a Clover iron but it is on my Christmas list.

Not yet, but I do have a spare when it does burn out.
I love my clover mini iron

I agree with Tartan--check the outlet. My daughter had an outlet in her kitchen that wasn't working because another outlet down the line on that wall had the breaker tripped. It had one of those GFCI buttons to reset it, and all was well.

Outlet checked. Good. Light indicator comes on (green) stating that iron has power. Good. Heat - nope. Not good.

Dead iron. Hope you can get a refund/new one. How frustrating.

This is a very old post and you have not been active here since 2018, but did you manage to repair the Clover mini iron? I have the exact same problem and cannot return the iron.

It's probably not worth trying to repair. At $20, you'd be better off buying a new one.

In Europe, these are around €50.
