    Default Butterfly for my Sister

1 year ago I set out to make something precious and unique for my beloved sister. It took me a couple months to design this and 8 months to piece it by hand (EPP style)--between other projects and daily tasks. I will add a solid black sashing and traditional square patchwork from the scraps for a border. Quilting will focus on SITD to emphasize the butterfly features. Solid black binding and dark grey back. Yeah... it'll be a darker looking project in the end, but she's into that sort of thing!
