    Great idea! I'd quilt it first, then add the buttons. Neat way to display some pretty vintage buttons!

    What a cute idea, I am going to try this with my 5 year old granddaughter who just finished piecing her first quilt. She wanted buttons on her quilt but this will be a fun project too! Maybe we will do it as a counting quilt, so many buttons on each block.
