    Donna,
I buy all of my buttons at flea markets. I know that soesn't help you for right now, but something to think about for next spring and summer. Some are very pricey now, but you can still, on a good day, find a mason jar full for $2. I love buttons and have zillions of them because I use them on sachets that I make. I would love to see your pincushions too because I have been thinking about making some! Post photos soon!!

Cool idea! Sounds very interesting. Thanks for sharing. I went to Spokane today and found some buttons at Hobby Lobby which didn't cost an arm and a leg. I am trying to make time to look in all the places everyone has suggested. I don't know why life and housework have to get in my way?

That makes me sad that someone who didn't give a wit about your memories, stole from you. I pray that the Lord will restore those to you in unique ways. God bless you. :-D

I bought some buttons I really liked at http://www.orientaltrading.com. Not sure if they were cheap though.
