    There was a post just this past week. They used a ladder hanger on the wall with pvc holding the bolt. It was awesome!

    Michael, I love your idea of how to store batting. It's a big hassle finding room to roll off what I need.

    I have a room next to my sewing room that has no ceiling (but has exposed floor joists from floor above), and my roll of batting is hanging on a rod from the floor joists overhead like a giant roll of bathroom tissue. We nailed brackets on the floor joists to hold the rod (broomstick) that goes through the center of the roll. That keeps it up out of the way, but it's also readily accessible.

    WE had high saw horses made with a notch in the center of each. The roll has a pipe through the cardboard it is rolled on and we can roll it out onto tables to measure and cut. It is set up in the basement. It took some trial and error to get to this but it really works pretty well.

    I just bought a large quantity of it recently and asked the store if they would give me a long tube on which to roll it. They did so and covered it with large plastic bags to keep it clean. I re-rolled it more neatly when I got home. It is residing on end in my coat closet. I've already had it out twice and it worked well to cut what I needed off the end.

    I have something you can have if you pay the postage. it looks like an X made of wood, it has 4 caster wheels on one side and a approx. 15" steak in the middle on the other side. send me a private message so I can send back, I don't know how to do it.
