For those who have the juki TL98Q, where do I buy the oil from?? I cut a hole too big in the tip and I don't want it pouring out. I need a new one.

    Thanks!

It is normal sewing machine oil...you can pick it up at your LQS or maybe Joann's...mine has a telescoping tube.

I got a big bottle at Hancocks and it works just fine. Just make sure it's sewing machine oil.

My manual says to use new defrix oil #1 and it is clear.

The sewing machine oil I have for my other machines is a yellowish, so does it matter?

I double checked in my manual...I calls for the new Defrix #1 or same type. Regular sewing machine oil is fine...but, if your oil is yellow...I would spring for some fresh stuff...it will only cost you afew dollars and then you won't have to worry. Whatever you do...don't use oil that is not specifically sewing machine oil...hardware stores sell oil that says it will work for sewing machines but I don't recommend it....

I use this (or a brand like it) on my GrandQuilter. The nozzle pulls out to easily reach all the nooks. It is available at Joann stores too.

Thanks everyone :D Hummm, the oil that came with my Bernina is yellowish. I think I'll look for some clear. I have the kind that is for sewing machines, wouldn't ever use anything but sewing machine oil.
