Happy Sewer, You will still be happy when your machine arrives. I have an Ellure and use it most of the time.

I bought an Ultimate Box that attaches by USP to my computer and holds and writes to your cards for your embroidery machine. I bought an extra card so that I could be using one while programming another.

If I were starting again, I would still buy the Ultimate box. You can find it on the web.

Good luck and have lots of fun!

    Hi Happy Sewer,

I also have a Babylock Ellure.....and just love mine. I have sewn quilts galore on it and also have done quite a bit of embroidery on it. I have the Palette system that is just the card writer....and it works just great for me. I download patterns online or from disks and then write them onto the card that goes into the machine.
Right now my Ellure is at the quilt shop where I work part time and is used for making shop sample quilts mostly. I love my Ellure. It works great and I have never had a problem with it. It does the decorative stitches wonderfully and I have quilted with it free motion....and it embroiders good.
I also have a new Elegante 2 machine....my pride and joy! I love it and it does it all. I use it for embroidery now.
You will be happy with your Ellure.... Have fun!!
