    Default Calendual Patterdrip's Cottage

Does anyone have pictures they can show of this quilt done in some applique or more vibrant halloween style? I'm looking for ideas for a little bit more punch, I'm a die hard Halloween lover.

    Thanks for the help,

    Kimbo

I don't have photos. I am going to make this in browns and tans without crayons. I will do the books in various shades of tan to brown. Embroider the details. I would think purples and organges in certain areas would look great! Think a dusty witches room. Witches don't do house work! Have fun! Luann

    Is this what you mean?
How about doing it in vivid Halloween colours instead of the lights that seem to show up in all the googles?
And then black and other bold embroidery threads ... with perhaps some metallics thrown in for some bling?

Was the $25.00 for the pattern alone. I have never seen a pattern at that price. However I'm rather new to this.

Yes the pattern is $25.00. If you Google the name of the quilt, there is a shop called Erica's that sells the fabric pretty much as you see it on the picture.

Thanks Crafern1, I was thinking of using some colors with the threads but didn't know if pulling some oranges and purples into the acutal blocks would cheese it up too much. Maybe I'll explore very mild purples and oranges in the blocks?

I've also got the Hocuspocusville from Crab-apple Hill in my que! :-)
