The pattern is very easy to follow and has few pieces, all of which can be cut with the rotary cutter. Like joysewer above, I use 2 types of bond - the 987F on the outer bag pieces and Decor Bond on the lining and inner pockets. Gives the bag stability and helps it hold it's shape. This pattern is fun because there are so many variations you can make.

I don't like flimsy looking bags and these two products give it a more professional look. You iron the Decor Bond onto the pieces first and then lay the 987F on top of the Decor Bond, use a piece of muslin as a pressing cloth, and iron it on.

Well let's see the one i'm in the process of making has 12 fabric peices to cut but that includes the button loop and ties. I'm using 3 fabrics but that is upper body, lower body and lining. It only calls for Pellon 987F fusible. It is a pattern I picked up at a quilt store on the coast.

I just finished my first Bow Tuck last weekend and it was so much fun. I used three fabrics, one for the bottom, one for the top and one for the lining. I used Pellon fusible fleece and I also used a piece of stiff cardboard to make the insert to stablilize the bottom of the bag to keep it from being saggy. I love my bag and the pattern is really easy.
