Mysi, a question, would a directional print be a problem for the focus fabric?

No directional prints will not be a problem. :) Thanks for asking! I didn't even think about that! Good question!

Awesome! Because I sort of think I am going to be using a "scene" print that would be perfect cut into 12.5'',well perfect in my eyes, LOL. I had to order some more fabric for my background and one accent, as I am planning on making my first full size quilt with this and didn't have enough  As soon as I get all my fabrics together, I shall post a photo.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this for us, Missy.

Hi other Candi  , it is my first mystery quilt, but from what I understand, it is a mystery, not much details are given upfront. Mysi (our awesome hostess) posted the fabric requirements for various sizes, you can download the PDF file from here http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-82205-1.htm and decide what size quilt you want to make, and choose your fabrics. If you go back to page 8 of this thread, you can find a photo of Mysi's fabric selection, as well as hints on picking fabrics. That is pretty much all anyone buy Mysi knows thus far. Sometime in late December, she will start posting clues once a week, which will be basically directions on how to cut/sew/arrange blocks to make the quilt. She will post clues weekly until we are finished. By the time the quilt is done, mystery will be solved!

I believe she will use this thread here to post clues http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-82205-1.htm

I hope this helps, I am excited about starting this one :P
Thank you soo much! Well put :)

k I'm going to try to move this over here to the correct posting

I also tried a red with it has our hostess suggested and she was right , I put a burgundy red with it and it looked great

here are my fabric choices so far, I still need 2 more? a solid yellow i think and a red orange maybe.

I'm a bit confused - is the directions page now updated to reflect these corrections?
