I changed my mind on what to use and think this will be better. What do you think?

Maybe add a red a blue, a black? or you can change the greens and put different values of greens instead of the same value of green. Remember the second accent will work with Color 1, if that helps... :)

I would consider changing the florals and the orange.. Maybe change those to a yellow/gold, black, and a red. It also looks like the greens are the same value or the same fabric? :) You are doing a great job at getting the ideas. I do like the new focus fabric better than the original thought! It's cute! Keep me in posted in pictures we'll get it hammered out! I wish I was there to help you on a more personal level.

Thanks, Missy. How do ya'll get the quote to be in a diff. shade so it stands out separate from the answer?

I find it kinda hard to find colors when the project is a mystery. LOL I have 2 sets of colors. the darker set I was going to use for the applique blocks that we are doing the first of the year. But I can use it for this instead if I have to. The second is what I chose for this project. what do you all think. I am very very new to this. I have not made anything.

Missy I removed the florals and the stripe, added red, black and yellow gold. I also bought a different focus fabric which do you like better? Which color would be used for background, color 1, color 2 etc. I too am clueless!

I finally read through all the pages and want to join. I am new to quilting (just finished my first) so I am glad that this is beginner friendly. I will PM you my email addy.

By the way, ladies I love all your fabric choices. I can't wait to go shopping. I really don't have a stash yet.
