HI! I like the colors and the placement, except I think the blue might stand out a little. Maybe switch it for the pink? Other than that everything is awesome!! HUGS!

Hi Missy. I would like to try this quilt and it would be my first mystery quilt.

I have pulled out some fabrics from my stash because I'm trying my best not to buy. Please let me know which fabrics you think would be best for each of the categories. The amount of fabric I have is limited because it's stash so I wrote the amount on each stickie note. I want to make the crib size. If have I have to buy a little bit of fabric to make the quilt work, I can do that.

K was my first choice focus fabric but i'm 1/4 yd short, so I think it should be A.

I was thinking maybe I should buy some white as the backround unless you think the purple would look good. And I will have to buy 2 yards of something to be color 1.

And this might be a silly question, but for the cutting requirements it says (Crib Size) Focus Fabric-2 strips 12 ½ x 12 .

Obviously this doesn't equal the 1 1/4 yds required in the quilt so will there be more cutting later? I'm asking because I have a fabric I want to use as the focus but only have 1 yd of it. Thanks!!!

YIKES Kryssa,It's 12 1/2 X12 1/2!!! Y'might want to look at it again, I just looked and I see it as a 12 1/2" x12 1/2"... :shock:

LOL! Too funny hugs! I'm looking at the fabric and it's hard to decide what you are going to do for a few elements because it either has to go with or complement Color 1.... :) PM me when you get the 2 yds. and I'll help you organize it.
