    Default Camo quilt

My grandson wants a camouflage quilt. I thought it would be best to keep the quilt simple and thought I would do a brick pattern, or square pattern or rail fence, something easy. I am afraid that if I use just the greens and tans in the first picture that the quilt might be kind of dark! So the 2nd picture I added a couple of off white colors. Should I go strictly with the dark colors or throw in some off white? Also, I would appreciate any suggestions on another pattern design (I feel kind of guilty going so simple). Also, would you do a random pattern or keep them in the same order?

Those 2 light colors really do make the others go. You did good.

I am thinking about an Atkinson pattern called Fire Escape. It is large rectangles with small squares added for interest. It is a good masculine pattern. Nice fabrics!

I like it with the lighter colors added. I'd add a light green but then I add green whenever I can. I love green

I just finished a camo quilt for my GGS. I used Warm Wishes. It came out stunning, was quick to make. It is at the quilters. I used camo, green + brown leaves (like your trees), black , and a med green small leaves. I used camo for the focus and the other 3 for the frames. Good luck with your quilt.

Good colors. I like your fabric choices except for the lights. Instead of off whites, why not add some rusts/oranges for fall leaves. Now is a good time with Thanksgiving fabrics going on sale soon.

Is Warm Wishes a free pattern on line for a lap size quilt?
