Can anyone explain what a Quilt Run is to me?

My girlfriend won a SEWING MACHINE a couple months ago on a Shop Hop....you never know! But yes, try to buddy up and make a fun day of it!

Our quilt shop hires a bus. You pay a certain amount that pays for the bus; there's treats and prizes on the bus; you visit all these quilt shops, have lunch on the road, and meet lots of new people. I went on my first last summer and hope to go again.

Sometimes there's more to quilting than making quilts..a bus ride with a little of my fabric money lets me make quilting friends! Try it, you'll like it!

I wish there was something like that where I live. There are limited number os quilt shops and therefor limited fabric selection. I have to buy on line to get the variety and then I haven't been able to feel the fabric and make sure it is the quality I want. Take advantage !
