Default Can anyone identify this pattern?

This quilt top was found among my aunt's belongings when she died. We assume it was made by our grandmother, but it is not typical of what a midwestern farmer's wife would have made in the 1920's-40's. The fabric is obviously of that age. It is very large. It fits on the top of my king sized bed.

It's hard to tell from the small picture, but it looks like a Prince's Feather quilt. Here's a similar one on etsy - https://www.etsy.com/listing/6786944..._click=1&frs=1

Thanks, I believe you are correct. It looks like this was common to the 1860's-1890's. Is that correct?

Those patterns included with batting were nice--before we could go to the internet for inspiration. For a time they included tape measures. No freebies nowadays.

By the way, it was called Princess Feather rather than Prince's Feather. Someone misheard the name when it was spoken, likely.
