I got the same machine for Christmas, I have tried and tried to all in love with it, haven't so far. I wish I had bought just a simple sewing machine, all this computer stuff on it is so intimidating to me. I can't enjoy it because it is so sensitive. I don't know what I will do with it. I want to take it back to Wal-mart. However it was a present from my Dad and hubby, and besides I picked it out!

This happened by my Babylock. I decided I didn't want to deal with a 3 wk repair time so I took off the cover on top and found a thread nest in the gears on top. Use canned air to clean it out and it should work like a charm.

i know how you feel about the actual quilting portion. so far everything i've done has either been tied or i've paid for it to be done.

Go ahead and cry. Most of us have had some kind of problem at one time or another with a machine. My favorite one can not longer be repaired, parts are no longer available. My new machines aren't as wonderful as my old faithful friend.

Glad to hear that it all worked out for you! I had the same problem when I was putting on my binding. And of course it was the last 10 inches. I cleaned out the thread jam, tried again. My bobbin case started jumping in my machine. I have a Janome 7700, just purchased 11 months prior. I took apart the throat plate 7 times to see if I could get it finished. and of course it was 1:00 in the morning and it had to finished the next day. I finally got it to work for the last few inches. I took it into the dealership wear I bought it. The bobbin case/ housing thing had to be adjusted. Good thing it was covered under warranty and first year free service. I was so frustrated at the time. I felt like crying too.
