Me too! I love seeing what everyone else is doing and where everyone is from. It also helps me to know that I'm not the only one who doesn't understand directions or has a hard time with FMQ. I appreciate being able to share prayer requests too. I pray for the people for whom it is requested and I appreciate others prayers for me too. I also find the weather postings more interesting and informative than other sources. I love the snow pics that some have posted. Also love quilt, animal and children pics. I love the board! But sometimes I do spend too much time here. LOL!

I think I could have finished a few queen size quilts with the time I have spent on here!

I quite agree! We have those around us as well as our extended families and acquaintances. Staying in contact is not a "waste of time" in any method, including the internet! Not many years ago we would not have had the opportunity to relate to each other all over the world in minutes the way we do now. I am a seasoned quilter and enjoy the lessons I get every day from our quilting-in-common thread.

I love opening my mail and seeing I have a post from the quilting board. I dont get them every day(dont know why). I spend well over an hour reading the posts and looking at the beautiful quilts and I havent even made one in over a yr. I love this site. thank you to all of the fabulous quilters who share their quilts and expert advice to all of us.
