    does it still sew??? why did you retire it. I still use mine at times...it does set up and down really fast.

    oooh what a gorgeous story!!!!!!!!! Your brother will always be with you!!!

    My featherweight looks very close to yours. I use mine all the time and just love it!!!!

    Another great machine is the Singer 301. It is an amazing workhorse. It's the straight stitch with all kinds of attachments that do zigzag things, such as a button hole attachment.

    Wow, that is one cool story. Just goes to show that our family is still with us, even when they are gone. Just imagine your brother nudging you...he must've known it was time that you became interested in quilting and all the joy it brings! I'm happy your hubby remembered it, found it, and that you care enough about it to treat it like a treasure and pass it over to your daughter. That's so meaningful.

    This is a very touching story. It is a treasured "gift", for sure. I am so happy for you that you have this lovely little machine to comfort you.

    I call those Coinci-gods! Can't you just feel your brother giving you a big bear hug!!! You know he is, and that he's SO happy you appreciate his gift.
