    I have THE right color of machine quilting thread but I want to do hand quilting with it. Is it safe to use this machine 100% cotton thread to do hand quilting? I'm new and I did search the thread posts but didn't find the answer. Thank you so much.

    I have used it for hand quilting before. It should be strong enough.

    absolutely, just never use hand quilting thread in your machine
