    I would like to know if anyone here uses the strip stick...and if its worth it.

    I use mine a lot. You can use it to press seams open or to one side. You get straight seams every time no matter which end you sew from.

    Couldn't you just use a piece of PVC with terry cloth draped over it?

    I agree. You could put a couple of intentional wonky purple borders on it going in different directions and it would look even cuter than it already is.

    I think that is an outstanding idea! What I have done so far is mark the sides so that the 2" squares appear straight, then I planned to cut it off and, if it doesn't fold up exactly squarely, the receiver will probably not realize it's cause it's wider at the top than the bottom. I will seriously investigate cutting it into squares, tho, before I finish it.

    I would rip out one seam in the center, turn one piece counter clockwise and sew it...might not work but worth a try. Its only one seam
