    The problem with thyme (and most other herbs) is that it has lots of teeeeny tiny leaves. Oak leaves, maple leaves, no problem. Gazillions of patterns out there for those leaves. But thyme, not so much. Embroidery, either by machine or by hand, is probably your best bet.
