    to resize a triangle with two equal sides, determine the length of the short/equal sides of the triangle then multiply that number by 1.414 to get the length of the third side
    ktbb, awesome link and saved for future reference. Now....next question is, will this formula also work on a triangle that has 2 long sides and one short side? Is this where the equal part comes in? Think of a tall skinny Christmas tree. I may be over-thinking it, but the link talked about triangles with 2 short sides and 1 long side.
