    I saw a set of 4- 4 patches in each segment with sashing and cornerstones around each 4 patch. It's harder to see the pattern in a whole quilt, so I drew both a small quilt and a larger one. I used a 4 patch finished size of 6 inches and a sashing of 2 inches finished. I called it Scrappy 4 patch.

    agreed. 4-4patch with white and a color. Then white sashing and that cornerstone. I think its really lovely.

    Nice chart Barb, that's exactly what/how I would do it. Starting with enough scraps to make four matching 4-patches plus sashing. In the example shown, all the sashing cornerstones are the same fabric.
