Too late Sandra, I’ve already gotten a new one floating around. The Hawaiian quilt has me liking the hand quilting since I’m not fighting seams. I was thinking of doing a variant of whole cloth quilting. I’m thinking four to six large panels sashed or pieced together, allowing me the luxury of a large unhindered piece and then patchwork around them.

Also have an idea for a harlequin patch involving triangles cut and pieced from alternating rotary cut strips. I’m going to try this one in my “spare time” this weekend and see if it works. If so I will post a picture.

So, Usually I get about 3 yards of each.....

Funny you mention that. When DH and I went to Clarksburg the other day...now I can't even remember why we traveled that way...oh yes, now I remember, we had to pick up that piece for the tractor at Tractor Supply. LOL. Anyhow, we went to Joann's and normally DH says you go ahead and go in and I'll wait on you. However, this time he insisted he go in. I wasn't planning on buying any fabric if they didn't have what I needed. They didn't have any I needed, but DH cruised the fabrics and picked out 4 different prints. I thought okay, well I'll just get a yard of each but he insisted 2 of each and of one print to get 4 yards. I thought wow..I should take him fabric shopping more often. LOL. He's even more excited, than I think I am to see the purses made from the fabric. LOL. he's so cute when he's like this..haha and would skin me alive if he knew I just typed that! HA!

Wow! I can't wait to try it though it will have to join the list. The Hawaiian pillow top is almost done and looks amazing. It is wonderful watching the echo stretch itself out of the pattern.

    I love quilting. :D
